What's new in Fozzels: October 2026, part 2

The second part of our October updates takes your content to the next level. Here's what's waiting for you:

  • A new level of result quality. A new type of workflow with AI validation and feedback: Fozzels checks your texts and keeps refining them until they're right.
  • Even closer to the perfect image. When regenerating images, you can now change the source product photo, the AI model, the prompt and the presets.
  • Your results, your spreadsheets. Download reports in Excel or CSV and choose exactly which data goes into the file.
  • Meaningful ALT texts, even where placeholders used to be. Fozzels now finds images whose ALT is just a file name and creates real descriptions for them.
  • New AI models, voice chat with Jane and automatic AI labels for images and videos.

Here's everything that's new and how to use it.

Highlights​

Automatic regeneration: texts that follow your rules​

Workflows can now regenerate a text automatically when it doesn't meet your requirements. Add the new action Regenerate with feedback to any workflow block: the text is held for review together with the reason, and Fozzels generates it again in the background using that feedback. Under Maximum regenerations, you choose how many attempts to allow, up to 3.

If you use AI validation (the AI validation fails condition), the additional AI requests for the check are charged separately.

Even without a workflow. If you haven't set up such a workflow, Fozzels still regenerates texts marked as suspicious, but without feedback, following the regular suspicious content rules, and not right away but in the next generation round.

New action: Sanitize text. Cleans a text the same way a new generation does: fixes encoded characters like &, converts markdown and removes HTML tags that are not allowed.

Flexible export to Excel and CSV​

You can now export results to Excel or CSV and choose exactly which columns go into the file, for example just the SKU and the generated description. Name the generated text column after the attribute code, and the file is ready to import into your shop or ERP. Fozzels remembers your selection for next time.

Regenerate images with new settings​

Not happy with a generated image? The Regenerate button in your Image Flow results now opens a window where you can adjust the settings for that one result before generating it again:

  • Product photos. Choose which product photos the AI works from, for example a different main photo if the original angle wasn't the best. You can select several photos, as many as the model supports.
  • AI model. Switch to another model, such as Nano Banana instead of GPT Image, and change the format, size or number of images.
  • Prompt and presets. Adjust the instructions or add, change and remove presets like background, style or scene.

Your changes apply only to this result: the Flow's settings stay the same, and other products are generated as before. Keep in mind that the new image permanently replaces the previous one; the window reminds you of this before you start.

The result page now also shows more details: when the image was created, generated and regenerated, the number of images, the Flow status, and which AI model was used.

Find images with placeholder ALT texts​

Often an image's ALT is technically filled in, but it's just a placeholder: a file name like "IMG_2045.jpg" or simply the product name. For shoppers and search engines, that's almost the same as having no ALT at all, yet Fozzels treated such ALT texts as filled in and skipped these images.

ALT Flows now have a new Media Gallery condition, has an image whose ALT contains. For example, enter ".jpg", and Fozzels finds every image whose ALT is just a file name and generates meaningful ALT texts for them. To include images with no ALT at all, add a condition group with "has an image with an empty ALT" and your ALT condition, and set it to "Any condition".

AI labels in generated images and videos​

Every image and video generated by Fozzels now carries a built-in, machine-readable label that marks it as AI-generated, in line with the transparency requirements of the EU AI Act. The label is stored in the file's metadata, so it's invisible to shoppers and doesn't change how your images look, but it stays in place after syncing to your shop.

For images, you can also see it in Fozzels: the result's version history shows the step Labelled as AI-generated.

Why it matters: you can use AI visuals in your shop with confidence, without adding labels manually.

Talk to Jane​

You can now speak to Jane instead of typing. Click the microphone in the chat field, ask your question, and Jane can read her answer out loud. Prefer silence? Switch off spoken answers with the speaker icon next to the microphone.

New AI models​

We keep expanding our model lineup as soon as AI providers release new models, so you can always choose the best fit for each task.

For texts

Gemini 4 Argon. Google's new flagship model, built for accuracy. It's one of the least likely models to invent facts, which makes it a strong choice for detailed, spec-heavy product content.

Claude Haiku 5.5. Anthropic's fastest and most affordable model, ideal for generating content for large catalogs.

For images

GPT Image 2.5 Flare. Fast, high-quality image creation and editing for everyday use.

GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. OpenAI's highest-quality option, with precise edits that keep the rest of the image, including your product, unchanged.

Nano Banana 2.1. Better quality and a lower price than Nano Banana 2.

For videos

HeyGen Video 1.0. A much more affordable alternative to Veo.

We also retired the older GPT-4.1 and GPT Image 1 models.

Content quality​

  • Fewer false suspicious flags. The suspicious check is now more precise. Regular product specs with numbers, such as "Breite – 80", "+25 °C" or "= 60", are no longer flagged. Only real calculations the AI accidentally left in the text, such as "59 + 1 = 60", are marked as suspicious, so you spend less time reviewing texts that are fine.
  • Fewer AI comments in your texts. We further strengthened the protection against service notes from the AI model ending up in your finished content.
  • Jane keeps your attributes intact. When Jane rewrites a prompt, she now inserts attributes such as {{name}} or {{ean}} correctly, so your prompts keep working with real product data.

Image and Video Flows​

Generated images that stay up to date​

Image Flows have a new option: Process the product again when its source image changes. When an image in the gallery position your Flow uses is replaced, removed or added in your shop, Fozzels notices it during the next product pull and generates a new image from the updated photo.

Good to know:

  • Images created by Fozzels don't count as a change, even if they replaced the original photo, and products with hand-picked images are never processed again.
  • Only results created after you switch the option on are checked, so there are no unexpected mass regenerations.
  • Each new generation is charged as usual. Until the new image is ready, the current result stays active.

Also new​

  • Removed products are clearly marked. Products deleted from your catalog now show the status "Removed from catalog" in Image and Video Flows too, and are no longer counted as "to be synchronized".
  • No more endless retries. If a product photo can no longer be downloaded, Fozzels stops retrying and marks the photo as unavailable.
  • Thumbnails for generated videos, so you can recognize them at a glance.

Reports and filters​

Errors at a glance. In the generation report, the "Display only with errors" filter now shows only failed generations, with the actual error message instead of "Unknown error occurred".

Notifications after a repull. When you repull products with a mass action, you now get a notification with the result right away.

App and languages​

  • Fozzels in Italian. The app is now available in Italian, and the Help Center in Italian and French.
  • Goodbye, old Chat Sandbox. We retired the chatbot from 2023. Jane, your AI assistant, is always here to help.
  • Small interface improvements. Your account's first integration is now selected by default in drop-down lists, and the AI provider list no longer opens by itself when you open a Flow.

Integration updates​

Magento​

Texts for all store views. Turn on Also save as the default value for all store views, and each push saves the text to the Flow's store view and, as the default, to every other store view. Store views with their own value for the attribute keep showing it.

Good to know: if a Flow for another store view uses this attribute in its prompt and automatically creates a new text when an attribute changes, it will treat the new default as a change and generate new texts for products without their own value.

Magento and NextChapter​

Replace existing product photos. New generated images can now replace the current product photos, and the replacement shows correctly in the Fozzels media gallery after syncing.

Shopware​

Support for AVIF images. Products with AVIF photos can now be used for text generation too: before sending them to the AI, we convert these photos to a format the model supports.

CSV / Raw File​

Files with hidden characters at the start, which made the first column name appear in quotes, are now read correctly.
